Roman Quest February Half Term at Chesters Roman Fort and Museum

Head out on a Roman quest at Chesters Roman Fort this February half term. Pick up your trail sheet from the visitor centre, and then roam the ruins to solve clues and become a hotshot historian along the way.

You'll be quite the Roman expert once you've found out all about the life of the soldiers who were based at the fort. Crack the code word to become a certified historical genius.

Our Roman soldier will be on hand to help you as you go and he'll be showing you a thing or two about how to act like one of the troop.

Please note that our Roman soldier will not be at the fort on the morning of Tue 13th Feb, however trail sheets will still be available.

Chesters Roman Fort is the most complete Roman cavalry fort in Britain - wander around the unusually well-preserved baths and steam room, and the officers' quarters.
