Phil Punton: Photography Introduction and Intermediate Workshops at St. Mary's Heritage Centre

About

Master of his art as a creative photography tutor, Phil Punton will be running two x 5 Week Courses
Part 1: Introduction to photography understanding and taking control of your camera
Wednesdays 5 February to 4 March, 10 - 11am
Part 2: Intermediate Photography; Expanding and developing your photography skills
Wednesdays 11 March to 8 April, 10 - 11am
St Mary's Heritage Centre

Under Phil's expert guidance as a workshop leader the sessions will enable you to discover what you and your camera are capable of. You will develop camera skills that will allow you to capture images you would not have thought possible. Many people own cameras but never progress beyond using the 'auto' function. Auto equals average and that's what you will learn how to surpass.

Lessons will be delivered using visual tutorial material which is shared after each lesson. Practical challenges will underpin your development and access to a private on-line site will allow you to upload images and get weekly feedback on your photographic development. You will not learn how just to take a picture, but how to 'make' a picture. Whatever your photographic interest is e.g. wildlife, landscape, portrait photography etc. these courses will equip you with the camera skills to capture beautiful images that get noticed.

Each block can be booked separately, but they are also designed to follow on if you want to take your skills further.
Each 5 week course is £75 and only 12 places are available to ensure the quality of tutoring.
