NE1 Presents Newcastle Motor Show 2017

About

Petrol heads, classic car enthusiasts and those who merely love anything shiny will be in their element when Grey Street in Newcastle plays host to some of the world's finest cars at this year's NE1 Newcastle Motor Show on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 July.

The NE1 Newcastle Motor Show is the UK’s largest, free, open-air, city centre motoring event and one of the biggest shows of the year in the North.

This year Lloyd Newcastle BMW have come on board as Dealer Partner for the event. They will have an expanded presence at the Show, showcasing some of BMW’s extensive collection together with unique showstoppers from BMW’s National headquarters.

Dubbed locally as the ‘Goodwood of the North’, the NE1 Newcastle Motor Show will combine its unique formula of motoring exhibits, rare and exclusive vehicles with motoring themed events and activities and expands to cover over more than two square miles of the city.

The two-day event gives the public rare and exclusive access to cars and motor vehicles from across the UK and internationally, many have not yet been released for sale, or have previously only been exhibited at VIP-only international motoring exhibitions.  In Newcastle, the cars are exhibited on the streets with the public able to get up close to the vehicles, talk to the experts and owners as well as enjoying the spectacle.

To accommodate all the new elements of this year’s event, more areas of the city will be involved with themed zones mapped out for different types of vehicles and activities, from supercars, rally and racing cars to showstoppers from some of the UK’s leading car dealerships.  Private exhibitors from across the region and beyond are on board to line Newcastle’s majestic Grey Street offering the public rare access to some of the world’s most exclusive cars, in one of the world’s finest streets.

Sat 8 July: 12.30pm & 2.30pm - watch professional stunt driver as he thrills crowds with fast-paced live-action precision in the heart of Newcastle.
