The North East's Premier Comedy Festival brings its vibrant and eclectic programme to Live Theatre for the first time this summer for an action packed two weeks of side splitting comedy.

From household names to hotly-tipped acts alongside the best local talent, don't miss this opportunity to see some of the finest and most exciting comedians working in the UK today.

See shows from famous faces in Live Theatre’s intimate venue including Dave Johns, star of I Daniel Blake, and Phil Nichol, most recently seen in the West End MusicalEverbody’s Talking about Jamie.

Catch previews of Edinburgh Festival Fringe shows fromDaniel Sloss ahead of his 11th solo Edinburgh Fringe run, and Hal Branson’s Mbolo.

See rising stars Catherine Bohart, Lauren Pattison (a former member of Live’s Youth Theatre), Kate Lucas, Chris Washington and Scott Gibson here first before they hit the big time.

Comedy shows for families include Lee Is The Best (No Limes Allowed) in which Lee Kyle turns his talent to comedy for kids, and The Kagools, a universally appealing show suitable for speakers of all languages and young and old alike.
