Jesterval 2017

About

Jesterval, The North East's Premier Comedy Festival, will return in 2017 as part of Q Festival an exciting collaboration with Gateshead Council.

Come join us for fun Summer days and long hot Summer nights from Friday 14th July – Sunday 6th August 2017

The stunning Spielgeltent on Baltic Square will play host to a vibrant and eclectic programme of day time activities and evening events for adults, children and families including Jesterval, a gin festival with burlesque, immersive cinema, family carnival day, crafts, storytelling, performance and DJs.

Jesterval will continue to feature some of the most exciting and finest comedians working in the UK today. From household names to hotly-tipped acts alongside the best local talent, don't miss this opportunity to see the acts up close and personal at a very affordable price, as there's a chance you'll be paying a lot more for a ticket to see them in the not too distant future.

The star-studded, side-splitting line up includes Hal Cruttenden and Sara Pascoe (both 14 July),  Zoe Lyons (15 July), Gary Delaney (16 July) and Ed Byrne closing the festival on Monday 31 July.
