Injured Jockeys Charity Golf Day

About

Get a team together and take part in the Injured Jockeys Fund charity golf day, hosted by Sir A P McCoy OBE

Start your day with a breakfast roll and tea or coffee before your team takes to course. On course competitions include Nearest the Pin, Longest Drive and Beat the Pro. After your round enjoy prize giving and a two course meal in the Grassholme Suite.

The Injured Jockeys Fund is based in Newmarket and was founded following the devastating accidents of Tim Brookshaw and a few months later Paddy Farrell in the 1964 Grand National. Both falls resulted in severe paralysis which immediately ended both their careers. The Injured Jockeys Fund, has since spent over 18m in helping over 1000 jockeys whose injuries have forced some of them to give up riding - providing care, compassion, and financial help.
