Horses at Work at Beamish Museum

About

As part of Beamish Museum's Great North Festival of Transport, join us for Beamish Museum for their annual (and famous) Great North Festival of Transport!

Enjoy an equine extravaganza during Horses at Work! As well as Beamish’s own horses, there will be a number of visiting horses and horse-drawn vehicles. Watch displays, meet the pit ponies and take part in fun family activities. This event is the perfect opportunity to see a variety of horses, including Clydesdales, Percherons and Gelderlanders, in settings in which they would once have been a familiar sight.

Horses at Work is part of the Great North Festival of Transport which also includes the Great North Steam Fair.

The festival, as with all daytime events, is included in admission to Beamish and is free to Unlimited Pass holders. For more information visit www.beamish.org.uk.
