NewcastleGateshead is fast becoming a hub for high-energy, live music festivals.

Don’t miss Pride Festival each year in Newcastle which grows with vibrancy, variety and good vibes with every event. Celebrate LGBTQ+ culture with performances, events for all the family, talks and events showcasing all the colours of the rainbow. 2022 saw NewcastleGateshead host the UK Pride festival. It was a massive occasion for the city with stellar performances from Todrick Hall, Bimini Bon Boulash, Joe McElderry, Mel C and many more fabulous acts. The Pride March throughout the city centre was based on the UK Pride Promise, 'Remember, Resist and Rise Up for Trans Rights and brought together NewcastleGateshead.

After the success of 2022, Northern Pride are well underway with plans for next year's festival. Be sure to keep an eye on this page for the official dates of UK Pride 2023.

The sun was shining as the Mouth of the Tyne Festival made a scorching return with Keane and Sophie Ellis-Bexter performing overlooking Tynemouth Priory. If you didn't manage to catch the action this year, it will be returning in 2023...keep an eye out on this page for details.
