Festival of Food: Aspiring Chef of the Year Lunch at Rockliffe Hall

Dine on a magnificent lunch which will be created by the winners of the Aspiring Chefs of the Year 2019.

Taste and discover a three course lunch invented by the most aspirational chefs in the North East and cast your vote for your favourite dish to crown its maker the ‘Champion of Champions!

The contestants of the Aspiring Chef of the Year 2019 competition will design and create a delicious three course lunch menu which will be inspired by the North East of England. The contestants will also use the most excellent produce from the local area.

The participants will consist of the very talented catering students from Darlington College – the starter for the lunch will be prepared by those studying Level 3 Professional Cookery, while the Level 3 students will create the main course and the Level 2 and 3 Patisseries and Confectionary students will collaborate on producing the dessert.

The lunch is part of the Festival of Food taking place at Rockliffe Hall in February 2019.
