Come! Escape into the Realms of Warquest, where you can level up, complete quests, defeat monsters and watch a cheeky little man do some stupid character comedy. That's right my friends, it's another bit of fun from David McIver, all about his teenage addiction to online role-playing games.

The audience are brought in to his world by getting to direct quests and the show along the way, but underneath the hilarious and off the wall characters, is David's attempt to represent his unique experience of dealing with a parent's disability as an only child in a single parent household, or rather his failure to deal with it.

Those with an affinity to gaming and D&D will get a huge kick out of this unique show, but the jokes, writing and underlying themes on display should not be missed by anyone.

Directed by Jordan Brookes (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2019).

'An outstanding, theatrical piece of one-man comedy' ★★★★ Chortle.

'A deliciously low-budget, self-deprecating, and dynamic quest' ★★★★ Broadway Baby.

'Uniquely inventive in its approach to comedy' ★★★★1/2 Short Com.

David has written and performed in BBC Three's Quickies, Newsjack and The Andy Field Experience. David was selected for the BBC New Comedy Award 2018 and his jokes have featured in 'Best Jokes Of The Fringe' 2018 lists in The Mirror, The i newspaper and Edinburgh Evening News.
