Coco the guide dog puppy visits Hope Street Xchange

We're celebrating World Animal Day and World Mental Health Day 2019 by exploring and highlighting the fantastic benefits of animals, pets and nature on health and wellbeing.

We've joined up with The Guide Dogs for The Blind Association to bring some of their best and most goodest dogs to Hope Street Xchange for you to meet.

Guide dogs and other assistance and therapy animals provide life-changing support to thousands of people around the world, improving their quality of life, creating a positive impact on their mental health and giving much needed companionship.

You'll be able to meet the dogs for 15 minutes at a time (but can sign up for as many 15 minute sessions as you'd like!) between 12pm and 2pm and all we ask in return is a £3 donation for the Guide Dogs per 15 minutes.

You'll also get a chance to speak with their trainers/owners to find out about the life-changing work these perfect pups get up to.

The Meet the Guide Dogs sessions are part of our Animal Magic - The Benefits of Pets and Nature for Mental Health conference which will feature fantastic speakers and stalls highlighting further brilliant mental health work across the region.
