A Celebration of Tourism in North East England

About

Celebrate English Tourism Week 2019 at Newcastle Castle and Cathedral. Find out all the amazing things that happen, places to visit and fabulous events to experience in the North East.

Experience a tour of Newcastle Castle before exploring a wide range of exhibits in Newcastle Cathedral which showcase some of the best tourism experiences on offer in the North East.

There are two time slots available at 11am and 1pm. On arrival join us at the Cathedral (entry through the main doors at the West end of the building on St Nicholas’ Street) where we will be serving tea and coffee.

You will have around an hour and a half to discover a whole host of creative exhibits and activities in and around the Cathedral and Newcastle Castle. To ensure you get a chance to experience everything you will be allocated into one of two groups when you arrive and will start your experience either in the Cathedral or Castle.
