The Holy Biscuit

The Holy Biscuit is a contemporary art gallery and arts centre in a former Methodist Church. A partnership between The Biscuit Factory and the Methodist Church, The Holy Biscuit’s main aim is to encourage the production and exhibition of contemporary art and to contribute to the wider community and cultural renewal of Newcastle, particularly in the East End.

Working alongside charities, the universities, faith groups, schools, artist collectives and other professional partners, The Holy Biscuit presents a wide variety of exhibitions cultural events and educational opportunities in the growing Newcastle arts quarter along with contributing to the wider discourse of religion in contemporary art.

A former Methodist place of worship, The Holy Biscuit is a community hub, fostering local regeneration through the arts and acting as a catalyst for social cohesion, which is key to the mission of the Methodist Church.

Visitors to The Holy Biscuit can enjoy free admission and free parking.
