Path Head Water Mill

Nestled away and just off the road out of Blaydon towards Ryton is Path Head Water Mill. The mill is an 18th century feat of engineering located in a tranquil valley, close to meadows and wooded walks with picnic facilities and a safe garden area.  Visitors to the mill can sketch or paint in the peace and quiet, enjoying the natural surroundings of the building and the millpond. It provides an opportunity to enjoy the views and wildlife whilst appreciating the past.

A range of events take place throughout the year including vintage tractor weekends, craft fairs, willow weaving demonstrations and folk music festivals. During the summer, the mill is open from 10am until 5pm (not Monday).
