Situated just 5 miles from the city centre Newcastle Racecourse is a Grade 1 National Hunt track, as well as a world class All Weather track hosting 62 racing fixtures throughout the year. The beautiful 812 acre High Gosforth Park estate is also home to Parklands Golf complex, superb conference & banqueting facilities, The Border Minstrel public house and extensive woodland walks.

* Full racing fixture list available at www.newcastle-racecourse.co.uk. Gates open two hours before the first race. Conference and banqueting available on all non-racedays.

 

 

Guide Prices

Pricing depends on racedays but usually starts at £12 per adult for online advance purchases. Children aged 16 and under always go free.

Road Directions

Nearest major road is A1/A19. Follow the brown and white signs to Gosforth Park. Nearest Metro Station is Regent Centre/Four Lane Ends. A free raceday shuttle bus runs from these Metro stations for an hour before the first race and an hour after the last race.

Public Transport Directions

Nearest station is Newcastle Central Station. Follow signs for Central motorway, Gosforth and then Gosforth Park.
