Get outdoors and closer to nature in one of our many green spaces and family attractions. Feed the birds at the WWT Washington Wetland Centre or take an underwater safari at the Tynemouth Aquarium.

Take advantage of all green spaces in NewcastleGateshead with a huge selection of parks all with easy distance of the city centre. Slightly further afield enjoy the countryside at Gibside in Gateshead and remember you are just less than 30 minutes away from the beach in Tynemouth and Whitley Bay!
