Bill Quay Farm


Situated on a treasured green space just a short walk from Pelaw Metro in Gateshead, Bill Quay Farm preserves rare breeds and provides activities for the local community. You can find livestock from the traditional to the bizarre, an abundance of artworks and a green retreat for wildlife at this not for profit registered charity which aims to benefit the wider community. The free attraction is home to eight breeding pigs, growing pigs, 50 sheep (be sure to come back from March – August to meet their little lambs) 8 goats, chickens, ducks, geese and other adorable small animals.

Facilities include picnic areas, baby-changing facilities, disabled ramps and toilets and cafe (10.30am - 4.00pm).
