Getting to intu Eldon Square by Car

Shoppers travelling by car should follow signs for Newcastle city centre. The city centre is easily reachable by The Great North Road (via Gosforth and Jesmond), the Tyne Bridge and the Redheugh Bridge (via Gateshead), the A193 (via Byker and Walker) and Westgate Road (via Fenham).

Parking Near intu Eldon Square

Shoppers can park at a number of car parks around the city including intu Eldon Square's dedicated multi-storey car park beside Haymarket; this can be accessed via Percy Street. There is also further parking at Eldon Garden, next to the Discovery Museum, City Hall and near Central Station.

Newcastle's Alive After 5 scheme ensures car parking after 5pm every day is free for all visitors to intu Eldon Square. 

Arriving at intu Eldon Square on Foot

intu Eldon Square's main entrance in located on Northumberland Street. Visitors to intu Eldon Square will also find access to the shopping centre through Old Eldon Square on Blackett Street and via the shopping mall’s most central entrance beside Grey’s Monument and Monument metro station.

Getting to intu Eldon Square by Bus

Bus routes from around the region run directly to intu Eldon Square Bus Station, the nearby Haymarket Bus Station and to a number of stops at Old Eldon Square.
