Young journalists

JUICE YOUNG JOURNALISTS CALL OUT

Juice Festival is looking for young people aged 16 - 25 to join our team of journalists to cover this year’s Festival and write for the Journal, Culture Magazine and our blog.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for people who are organised, motivated and enthusiastic who are interested in writing and sharing their opinions.

Don’t worry if you don’t have loads of experience. Don’t worry about sounding clever. Don’t worry about sounding like a reviewer. We’re interested in your voice and your take on events.

What you’ll be doing

  • Writing previews and reviews of Juice Festival events for The Journal newspaper and Culture magazine.
  • Those involved will also be writing for our popular blog, covering events before Juice Festival as well as during the festival period.
  • Contributing to Juice Festival social media channels on facebook, twitter and instagram.

What you’ll get out of it

  • Your writing published in print in Culture magazine, as well as online on the Juice Festival Blog.
  • FREE ENTRY to Juice Festival events you wish to review.
  • A great platform to help you develop your Journalism skills.
  • A visit to the ncjMedia building – where the Journal and Culture Magazine are published – and an opportunity to meet and question those who work on Culture magazine.
  • Arts Award – As part of the project, young journalists will work with Juice Festival to complete Bronze or Silver Arts Award.
  • A lasting relationship with Juice Festival and the opportunity to be involved in the wider festival and in the future.
