Juice Festival Bloggers

Juice Festival is looking for young people aged 16 - 25 to join our team of bloggers to cover this year’s Festival and write for our blog.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for people interested in the arts, who are keen to write and share their opinions. You need to be organised, motivated and enthusiastic.
We are interested in your voice and take on events, so don’t worry if you don’t have loads of writing experience - that’s what we can help with! And if you are more experienced with writing and reviewing – we’d love to work with you too!

What you’ll be doing

- Attending a team briefing session on reviewing for Juice Festival
- Writing previews and reviews of Juice Festival events for our blog.
- Contributing to Juice Festival social media channels on facebook, twitter and instagram.

What you’ll get out of it

- Your writing published online on the Juice Festival Blog.
- FREE ENTRY to Juice Festival events you review (we sometimes get free tickets to review other events in NewcastleGateshead too!)
- A £10 honorarium per article contributed and we can also help with travel expenses as required.
- A great platform to help you develop your journalism skills.
- The opportunity to do your Arts Award – as part of the project, young journalists can work with Juice Festival to complete the Bronze Arts Award qualification.
- A connection Juice Festival, other young people involved, and the opportunity to be involved in the wider festival and in the future.

How to sign up

Fill in the application form found here. Applications close on the 29th September, however we encourage you to apply early as articles will be allocated on a first come, first served basis!

You can have a look at our blog for content ideas www.juicefestivalblog.com.
