About

Six can be found on the top floor of BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art and is known for its dramatic panoramic views of the Newcastle and Gateshead Quayside and beyond, as well as its delicious modern British cuisine.

The restaurant designs its menus around sustainable and locally sourced produce, supporting local businesses and small artisan producers.  The kitchen team create delicious dishes inspired by the best ingredients of the season.  With menus changing monthly, there’s always something new and exciting to try.

For those looking for a quick lunch, post-work catch-up or pre-show dinner, Six offers a fantastic value Monthly Specials menu which uses specially selected, exceptional, seasonal produce.

Not to forget Six’s famous afternoon teas either.  Starting at £16.95 for a classic afternoon tea, enjoy miniature finger sandwiches, sweet treats and fruit and homemade scones served with jam and clotted cream.  Afternoon Tea is served Tuesday to Sunday 2.30-3.30pm.

Everyone is always encouraged to try one of Six’s signature cocktails in the Viewing Box before heading home too.
