Stowell Street runs through the centre of Chinatown and is lined with all-you-can-eat buffets and authentic Chinese restaurants. There are also many excellent a la carte-style Chinese restaurants such as Amaysia Restaurant which boasts an Asian fusion menu and Palace Garden which specialises in Cantonese cuisine and is famous for its dim sum. If you're ready to have a sing-a-long then Red Diner on Stowell Street serves up Cantonese and Szechuan dishes with flavours from China and Hong Kong, accompanied by a number of popular multi-lingual karaoke rooms.

Outside of Newcastle’s Chinatown, explore a great range of Chinese restaurants including Moji Restaurant on New Bridge Street where you can combine a tasty meal with a good-old sing song in the karaoke lounges.
