Hinnies

About

Hinnies serves a rustic and earthy Geordie-influenced British menu in warm surroundings, right on the seafront in Whitley Bay.

Tuck into their hearty seasonal menu, brunch and Sunday lunches. Their menus feature Geordie-influenced classic dishes made properly from scratch using local and seasonal produce to give a real taste of our beloved North East.

They offer an excellent set menu during week day lunch times of £12 for 2 courses / £15 for 3.

Their early evening menu (served from 5-7pm) is also £15 for 2 courses/£18 for 3.

At weekends they serve brunch, lunch and dinner with individually priced dishes. Why not drop in for a delicious afternoon tea? Take a look at their website for full menu information.

Children are very welcome at Hinnies and little ones have their own menu with make-your-own pizza, colouring crayons and activity sheet, plus free wifi.

Hinnies is owned by Andy Hook who also runs the multi-award winning Blackfriars Restaurant in Newcastle and Dobson & Parnell on Newcastle’s quayside, together with local entrepreneur, David Townsley. Hinnies is inspired by Andy and Dave's passion for a good plate of freshly-cooked food served in a relaxed and informal setting.
