Events in Jesmond

Jesmond is a great place for events thanks to its diverse community of students, families and young professionals. Whether you're heading to the Jesmond Food Market or Arts and Crafts market on Armstrong Bridge for a weekly browse through some of the regions' finest treasures and artwork or visiting any of the local community fairs, you can have a great day out in Jesmond, no matter what your age or interests.

Jesmond Food Market, which takes place on every third Saturday is the ideal spot to pick up snacks, preserves and street food from local vendors including Ouseburn Coffee Company, Le Petit Creperie and Papa Ganoush while Jesmond is also host to a number of small Christmas markets and summer fete's which are usually held by the local community.

A recent addition to Jesmond's blossoming social calendar is the events held at Wylam Brewery, which is located nearby within Exhibition Park. Wylam Brewery, which has recently been named as one of our best nights out in Newcastle, frequently hosts large scale events including Battle Of The Burger, Pizza Slice Wars and the Newcastle Gin Festival, to name a few. If you're visiting Jesmond with your family or small children, why not head to the beautiful Jesmond Dene during the summer months, where Heartbreak Productions perform outdoor shows and plays.

Missing out on some of Jesmond's best events when visiting? Don't worry, there are still plenty of things to do in Jesmond all year round.
