One night stay

Unique city experiences
This itinerary lets you explore the best of Newcastle, taking in all of the city’s history and culture and spending an evening enjoying its vibrant nightlife. On the second day you’ll venture a little further afield to the quaint coastal town of Tynemouth, which is easily accessed by public transport.

UNESCO World Heritage Sites
This two night, three day itinerary takes you to both of North East England’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You’ll visit Durham Castle and Cathedral as well as following in the footsteps of the Romans along Hadrian’s Wall, which stretches across the north of England. Hadrian's Wall is one of England’s greatest landmarks and it inspired writer George RR Martin to create his own Wall in the bestselling books and hit TV series, Game of Thrones.

Active outdoor adventures
This itinerary lets you explore the best of Newcastle by foot and bike, before travelling to Kielder Water & Forest Park – a remote area that’s perfect for outdoor pursuits and is known for the quality of its night skies.  On the final day, you’ll put on your hiking boots to follow in Roman footsteps along UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hadrian’s Wall.

UNESCO World Heritage Sites
This three night, four day itinerary follows the path of the Romans along the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hadrian’s Wall, which stretches across the north of England. Active outdoor adventures
Over four days, you can travel the 101 miles by bike from Newcastle to the northernmost town in England, Berwick-upon-Tweed, following the Coast and Castles South cycle route. Northumberland has more castles than any other county in England and this trip takes in most of them at a leisurely pace!
