Conference Travel Card

NewcastleGateshead Conference Bureau has teamed up with North East England transport operator Nexus to develop the destination’s first dedicated conference travel card for delegates.

The card allows delegates unlimited travel on the Tyne and Wear Metro system and NewcastleGateshead’s city centre based Quaylink Central Zone buses.

For just £2.30 per person, per day, delegates can travel as often as they like on the Metro and Quaylink using the Conference Travel Card.

NewcastleGateshead has been voted the number one UK city for its ‘ease of getting around’ by readers of Conde Nast’s Traveller magazine. This card allows delegates to take full advantage of the excellent transport links and make the most of their time in NewcastleGateshead.

As an event organiser you can purchase the card on behalf of your delegates and due to its flexible nature, you can specify how many days you would like the card to be valid for, depending on the event.
