The Late Shows Newcastle is the North East's biggest and best late-night culture crawl. The two-day event kicks off on Friday 17 May 2019 for another out-of-hours celebration of the museums, galleries, historical buildings and venues Newcastle, Ouseburn and Gateshead have to offer.

The Late Shows Newcastle

The award-winning Late Shows Newcastle takes you on a cultural exploration at venues you may not have explored before, packed with unique events and have-a-go workshops - and all for FREE!

With so much going on at The Late Shows (17 & 18 May) and not long to cram it all in – we recommend you do your research and pick your favourites rather than racing around the whole city. If you’ve planned ahead, you won’t miss some of the pre-bookable events that take place too and can factor in time for a well-earned snack break from one of the many local and independent businesses providing tasty food and drink during The Late Shows.

We’ve whittled down the full programme to a handful of highlights from each of the four Late Shows zones to give you a head start.

(For the full and unedited list of activities – head to The Late Shows’ website or do a search for Late Shows events on Facebook and you will be blown-away by the choice!)
