We’re coming to the end of January (hoorah!) and edging ever further away from any wild and over-zealous New Year’s Resolutions we may have made about getting fit and healthy for 2017.

To keep you on the straight and narrow so that those resolutions at least stretch into February, let us give you some fresh inspiration – here are five alternative ideas to the gym that we promise you will enjoy!

Dance City

Try something new with a broad sweep of dance classes for every age and ability. Even if you have two left feet, there is an option for you! Whether you fancy yourself as the next Strictly Come Dancing pro or would rather be the backing dancer for Beyonce – there is a pletharo of classes and workshops available. Can we suggest you get started by brushing off your hand jive and booking onto Dance City’s Grease Workshop (for 14yrs +) followed by an epic Dance-Along to one of the most icon films, Grease. Book tickets for both the workshop and Dance-Along screening on Saturday 18 February.

Find out more about prices and Dance City's full range of workshops here.

Go Ape! Matfen Hall

If you’ve always fancied swinging from the treetops, channel your inner Tarzan, turn off your phones and challenge yourselves to an adventure Go Ape style! There’s even a deal for February if you book before 10 Feb.
