It might be a bit wet in the Toon today – but there’s still plenty of things for rugby fans to enjoy.

Head down to Rucking all over the World at Discovery Museum. This exhibition celebrates the history of Rugby in the North East and also features items from the World Rugby Museum  alongside memorabilia from local rugby clubs and supporters. It’s free entry and you can also discover the history of Tyneside.

Sage Gateshead will be screening all Rugby World Cup 2015 games on the stunning concourse. Enjoy the Quayside views as you watch South Africa v USA (4.45pm kick off) and Namibia v Georgia (8pm kick off) along with delicious bar snacks.

The EAT! North East Street Food Market opens at 12noon. Enjoy delicious food from some of the best local producers and browse some great art as part of Loveartnortheast. The Big Screen will be broadcasting all matches throughout the Tournament. If the weather turns, head to one of the nearby bars to keep dry and have a beer or two.
