Blackfriars

Blackfriars is an award winning restaurant located in the 13th century medieval friary in the heart of Newcastle.

With its Dominican origins dating back to 1239, and a long history that included a spell as a hostel for King Henry III, this former inner-city monastery is undeniably unique.

The restaurant serves gutsy, traditional British food using seasonal produce from the local farms and producers.

Electric East

Electric East offers a range of innovative dishes from Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand - all with one thing in mind - giving you a superb dining experience!

As well as an extensive outside dining area the restaurant features a luxurious lounge kitted out with furniture and artwork direct from Vietnam.

Fenwick

Fenwick Newcastle is one of the largest luxury department stores in the country. The store, founded in 1882, is spread across five floors and its wide range of contemporary products makes it the ultimate shopping destination in the city.

The First Floor is entirely devoted to women’s fashion, shoes and accessories and includes luxury labels such as MaxMara, Burberry, Vivienne Westwood and Mulberry. Situated just off the First Floor is the store’s Personal Shopping Suite. This space is designed to feel like a boutique hotel room and is a wonderful place to relax whilst being guided through the season’s latest looks by one of the store’s Fashion Consultants.

On the Ground Floor is one of the biggest beauty halls in Europe, with exclusive ranges from Chanel, Tom Ford, Giorgio Armani, MAC, Kiehl’s and Jo Malone.
