Millfield House is situated close to both Newcastle upon Tyne and Durham City Centre’s. Located just outside the lovely village of Lanchester in County Durham, you can enjoy easy access to an excellent range of pubs, bistro’s and coffee shops. Millfield House sleeps up to 4 guests in two bedrooms; a king size bedroom and a twin bedroom and provides a perfect base for exploring the North-East region, including the stunning Northumberland AONB coastline and the scenic C2C route.

This is a great choice of self-catering accommodation for families, friends or couples; with an interest in walking, cycling, golfing, or for those simply wanting to explore this wonderfully scenic area. Whether you are visiting the region for business or pleasure, you will be spoilt for choice for great places to visit during your stay, due to its proximity to many top North East visitor attractions including the world famous and multi-award winning Beamish Museum, the largest open air ‘living museum’ and its easy access to the vibrant and cultural city centres of Newcastle and Durham; great for shopping, dining and Theatre visits.


This cottage accepts one small well behaved dog.

Bed linen, towels, heating and hot water are included.


Entrance: Large porch with hooks for coats and a boot area.

Living Area: spacious living room with beamed ceiling, comfy leather sofas, flat screen TV, Blu Ray player and digital sound system.

Kitchen: Fully equipped with toaster, kettle, cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dining area for four.

Master Bedroom: Large king-size room with antique wardrobe and dressing table, bedside tables and lamps and a Lloyd Loom Chair. (Parents note: there is room in this bedroom for a travel cot).

Twin Bedroom: Two full sized single beds, shared bedside table and small chest of drawers. Views of the rear garden and beyond.

Family Bathroom: Lovely white suite with electric shower over bath, WC and hand wash basin.

Outside: Rear door opens on to enclosed, secure patio area with outdoor seating and BBQ, plus additional lawned area.

There is off road parking for two cars.
