Eaststone Cottage

About

Located within one and a half acres of beautifully kept grounds Eaststone Cottage offers delightful views across the Derwent Valley. Interestingly, the land it is nestled within was once part of the Gibside Estate which was owned by the Royal Bowes-Lyon family, you might even catch the famous Red Kite birds of prey at home in their natural habitat in the skies and fields opposite the cottage.

The cottage is situated within close proximity of Newcastle upon Tyne with its various attractions to suit everyone such as The Metro Centre, Hadrian’s Wall, the National Trust’s Gibside Estate and Whickham Golf Course. The Northumberland Coastline is just an hour’s drive away, a fantastic day out which you are sure never to forget.

Eaststone Cottage is all one one level sleeping up to 3 guests and is suitable for a range of guests such as couples and families, those looking for a golfing break, a walking holiday or those who need a tranquil space to return to whilst working in the area. The local sights and attractions are well worth a visit and Eaststone Cottage is the perfect base to explore from.

For larger parties of up to 7 guests, Eaststone has a 'sister' cottage, Fellstone Cottage which has two bedrooms (a King and a Twin) sleeping 4 and is located just next door. N.B neither cottage is suitable for hen or stag parties.
