The Cycle Hub

Co-owned by Newcastle Cycle Centre & holiday company Saddle Skedaddle this chilled out cafe/bike shop is smack bang on the C2C route.

The C2C cycle route is one of the UK's key challenge rides, attracting tens of thousands of riders each year. Those riding past Spillers Quay on Newcastle Quayside will now be able to grab a coffee while buying spares or having their bikes fixed.

The shop is in the former Quayside Regeneration Centre, a building owned by Newcastle City Council and which hasn't hadn't a fixed role for some years. While not vacant it hasn't been used to its full potential and this is why holiday company Saddle Skedaddle teamed up with Newcastle Cycle Centre to create The Cycle Hub.

Cafe, cycle hire and bike shop. Base for Saddle Skedaddle, which runs trips on the C2C as well as cycle holidays around the world.
