Shearer's Bar is situated under the Gallowgate Stand at St. James' Park, home of Newcastle United. Named after Alan Shearer, Newcastle's biggest footballing legend, Shearer's Bar opened in December 2004 and is part of one of the impressive facilities at St. James Park. The bar is open daily from 10am, serving food created by award winning chefs until late afternoon and Shearer's boasts an impressive range of beverages from behind the bar ranging from super chilled beers to mouth watering cocktails and top class wines. The venue is situated over 3 floors and with over 40 televisions, customers can relax and catch up with the latest sports news and action. Shearer's bar has visitors from all over the world, it was recently voted 'Best Bar None' in Newcastle Upon Tyne which is a very prestigious award to receive.
