Sunderland’s Stadium of Light is to play host to the North East’s biggest ever pop event, as AEG Live brings the phenomenal summer music event back to the region, as part of its wider UK Live events.

Scream – takes you 37m into the sky, holds you for approx 15 seconds and then drops you at a speed of 0-68mph in 2.3 seconds with a G-Force of 5.5!!
Urban Wave – brand new and the only one of its kind in the UK. Try your skills at surfing or snowboarding without getting cold and wet!
For visitors who like to keep their feet on the ground, there is the Marine Park which is just across from the Pleasure Park offers individuals the opportunity to hire pedal boats (children must be accompanied by an adult) to pedal around the lake as well as a miniature train ride for smaller children.
There are numerous food outlets and snack bars on site offering a variety of hot and cold food, drinks, ice creams and sweets.
Admission into the park is free all year round. The park works on a token based scheme with rides. Visitors simply purchase tokens on arrival, for special discount offers visit www.oceanbeach.co.uk
