A good night out always means a safe night out in Newcastle thanks to the Best Bar None scheme run by Newcastle City Council in partnership with the police and fire brigade. It’s a quality accreditation for bars, pubs and clubs that rewards and recognises best practice in areas such as safety, security and responsible operating policies. We only promote bars, pubs and clubs in Newcastle that are Best Bar None accredited. Every year it’s a fierce competition as the best-of-the-best battle it out to be crowned Best Bar None.
