Set in North East England, NewcastleGateshead has excellent access links by air, ferry, road or rail. We have lots more information on getting here and once you're here, getting around NewcastleGateshed is easy as there are a variety of ways to travel throughout the city centre and out to the suburbs, unspoilt coasts and countryside. There is the superb Metro that links NewcastleGateshead with the rest of Tyne and Wear (and has been rated as one of the UK's most efficient rapid transport systems), excellent cycle routes, as well as frequent bus services. Taxis are plentiful, or you can choose to hire a car.
