NE1 Newcastle Restaurant Week is one of the North East’s most popular leading food events, which celebrates some of the very best restaurants in Newcastle and takes part twice annually in both February and August.
This year's Newcastle Restaurant Week runs from Monday 16 January until Sunday 22 January 2017 and provides ample opportunity to dine on a discount at some of the city's finest restaurants as they open their doors to offer fantastic offers and special deals on their menus. Each restaurant has crafted a bespoke Restaurant Week menu for either £10pp or £15pp.It's the perfect way to discover a new restaurant in Newcastle or enjoy and old favourite at an even better price.
Whether you’re into Fine Dining cuisine, vegetarian dishes or juicy burgers, or if you’re a foodie world traveller looking to try everything from Japanese noodles to spicy Indian curries, there’s a little taste of everything at Newcastle Restaurant Week.
For those who like to dine in style, Newcastle Restaurant Week is always a great opportunity to sample the award-winning restaurants of Newcastle for less and with heavy-hitters such as Marco Pierre White and Blackfriars offering up their special a’la carte dishes at discounted prices, we recommend booking your tables as early as possible.
Meat lovers can also indulge with deals at some of Newcastle's best steak restaurants, burger joints and barbecue smokehouses, including Miller and Carter, Bierrex, Hop and Cleaver and Fat Hippo; great for larger groups who want to enjoy a craft beer or two with their food. Be sure to try out the half-rack ribs at Longhorns or the infamous PB&J burger at Fat Hippo Underground. Newcastle Restaurant Week is all about being adventurous!
