Dabbawal began with one bright idea: fresh, authentic Indian food. We took that idea and looked to the streets for inspiration to create a dining experience that is vibrant, alive and bursting with flavour... and there you have the essence of Dabbawal!
Our name is a tribute to the Dabbawalas, the 'lunchbox men' of Mumbai, who spend their days teeming through the streets keeping the city fed. At Dabbawal, we love the idea of food on the move.
The menu was created with sharing in mind, because we believe everything good is better when shared in great company. Eating at Dabbawal is more than a meal it's an experience, one we hope will keep you coming back for more!
