Northern Print Biennale

See it, do it – at the Northern Print Biennale as international artists and cultural venues across NewcastleGateshead come together for the biggest celebration of printmaking this country has ever seen.

The main exhibitions will be hosted by Hatton Gallery, Laing Art Gallery and Northern Print and will showcase the very best in new British and international printmaking selected by a distinguished panel.

Selected artists include up-and-coming names and well-known artists such as Richard Hamilton and Jim Dine. Three invited artists: Louise Bourgeois, Richard Woods and Daryl Waller make up an impressive list.

A wider programme of exhibitions and events will take place throughout the city with other venues such as Discovery Museum, BALTIC, Shipley Art Gallery, Vane, Hole Editions and Designed and Made taking part. These associated events will be promoted through a leaflet and map providing visitors with a tour of ‘Print City’.
