Raise Your Game Corporate Challenge 2011

NewcastleGateshead Initiative have this year developed a charitable policy, that sees the organisation work with and support a different charity each year. In 2011, St Oswald’s Hospice is our designated charity of the year and will be the benefactor of any corporate fundraising undertaken.

This year’s ‘Raise Your Game’ is a fun corporate challenge which aims to harness the flair and innovation of the region’s entrepreneurs and businesses to raise many thousands of pounds for St Oswald’s Hospice in the charity’s 25th Anniversary Year. Team NewcastleGateshead Initiative will for the next three months (August-October) put themselves to the test to come up with some creative ways to raise as much cash as possible for the charity.

You’re Fired! Team Challenge

Grand Finale: Thursday 20th October

If you missed The Apprentice this year, or perhaps you applied to take part in the BBC TV series but didn’t make it onto the show, now is your chance to shine!

Teams of 6 (maximum) are invited to complete three Apprentice based challenges:

• a simple selling task,
• a marketing/rebranding task
• a negotiating task. 

Teams will then be invited to  Boardroom for the You're Fired Finale on 20th October when the winning team will be revealed.

Join us and in the Boardroom for a prize filled social evening to see which North East team will escape the firing line and be crowned winners of You’re Fired 2011.

The brand new Students Union at Newcastle University will be transformed into The Boardroom and you, our guests, and a panel of local business leaders will review the work done by our entrepreneurial teams throughout the challenge period. Although a business partnership with Lord Alan Sugar isn’t up for grabs, the team which performed the best will be awarded with a glittering prize!

Join us at this fun social evening; support the You're Fired teams, be in with a chance of winning some amazing money-can't-buy prizes, enjoy a drink servied from the brand-new 50metre long bar and celebrate in style with the winning team!
