Cultural Advisory Board
The recently established Cultural Advisory Board works closely with the Culture Team at NewcastleGateshead Initiative to develop and promote the full cultural offer across NewcastleGateshead.
The role of the Cultural Advisory Board is to identify opportunities for collaboration between cultural partners and encourage shared programming for collective NewcastleGateshead-wide events, building on the success of examples such as Juice Children and Young Peoples’ Festival, EAT!, NewcastleGateshead’s Festival of Food and Drink, and The Late Shows.
Its role is also to assist in the creation and shaping the annual programme of Festival and Events.
The Cultural Advisory Board, made up of a wide membership encompassing regional and national cultural and sporting expertise.
