Planning to raise Investment

Lending is still tight but investment is out there; loan and venture capital. 2014 is set to be the Year of Recovery when businesses will be taking advantage of fresh opportunities for growth. However competition for investment is tough as many will be seeking finance startup to expand fund acquisitions, capital projects and recruitment.

The event is led by Jonathan Gold, an expert in business development, commercialisation and investment readiness, including helping start-ups, entrepreneurs and small businesses to manage and access investment, venture capital and debt finance.

Finance Update & Bank of England Economic Review

Rosie Smith, the Bank of England Agent for the North East, will talk you through the Bank's Inflation Report - its quarterly economic assessment - to be published earlier in May. Rosie will cover the key elements of the UK economy at the time, including the Bank's forecast for future growth and inflation. She will also cover the impact of the recession and aspects of the current international situation. 

 Cost: This event is free to attend, however to avoid a cancellation fee of £35 + VAT please inform the Service Network team in writing at least 48 hours before the event if you register but can no longer attend.
