Conference Travel Card

NewcastleGateshead Conference Travel CardNewcastleGateshead Conference Bureau has teamed up with North East England transport operator Nexus to develop the conference destination’s first dedicated travel card for delegates. 

The card allows delegates unlimited travel on the Tyne and Wear Metro system and NewcastleGateshead’s low-emission yellow Quaylink buses which operate a frequent service around NewcastleGateshead’s iconic quayside area. 

NewcastleGateshead is compact, accessible and easy to get around but is it now also great value. For just £2.20 per person, per day, delegates can travel as often as they like on the Metro and Quaylink using the Conference Travel Card. 

NewcastleGateshead has been voted the number one UK city for its ‘ease of getting around’ by readers of Conde Nast’s Traveller magazine. This card allows delegates to take full advantage of the excellent transport links and make the most of their time in NewcastleGateshead. 

Cards can be obtained by conference organisers for all their delegates, and due to the flexible nature of the card, you can specify how many days you would like the card to be valid for, depending on the length of your event.
