From the A1: Just north of the Washington services at junction 65, take A194(M) and follow signs for the Tyne Tunnel. Just before the tunnel you’ll join the A19. From the A19: Just north of the Tyne Tunnel, take A187 towards Whitley Bay and follow signs to Royal Quays. From the North: Join A19 southbound and follow signs for Royal Quays and the International Ferry Terminal.
From the West: Join the A1058 from Newcastle centre postposted Tynemouth. Follow signs for the Tyne Tunnel and before the tunnel follow signs for Royal Quays and the International Ferry Terminal.
