Several wall towers remain, including Plummer Tower on Croft Street; Corner Tower, next to the junction of City Road and Melbourne Street; Sallyport Tower, just past Pandon Bank on City Road; Andrew Tower, between St Andrews Street and Gallowgate and Morden Tower at the back of Stowell Street which was built around 1290 and is still being used for poetry readings today.
