Bedroom

Situated in the heart of the bustling city of Newcastle Upon Tyne, the Royal Station combines elegant Victorian architecture with up to date facilities and takes pride in offering a courteous and friendly service.

The hotel has been recently refurbished to a high standard and each of the 145 spacious en suite bedrooms has radio, colour satellite TV, hair dryer, trouser press, free high speed network Internet, tea and coffee making facilities.

Guests can taste the culinary delights of A la Carte or Table d' Hote menus complimented with a fine selection of wines in the Empire restaurant. The 3-course Sunday carvery lunch is highly recommended.

With a choice of ten versatile conference suites supported by excellent facilities and dedicated staff, the hotel is the ideal venue for conferences, meetings and social events. The Victoria and Collingwood suites can accommodate up to 200 delegates or up to 180 guests for dinner and weddings while there is a variety of smaller suites available for events such as seminars and receptions.

The new Leisure Club features an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and cold plunge pool as well as a fitness area. Hotel guests and business delegates (daily conference package) can avail themselves of the excellent facilities in the hotel's fully equipped leisure club free of charge.

The Destination Bar has opened its doors to the public in May 2003 after a £750,000 refurbishment of the former smoking room in the basement of Royal Station Hotel in Newcastle City Centre. This site in Neville Street with a total of three 17 inch screens featuring an exclusive Happy Hour Machine and two state-of-the-art 50 inches plasma screens entertaining sports fans caters for a wide range of customers throughout the day and evening with an emphasis on an impressive cocktail list, comfortable leather seating, excellent service and an innovative bistro menu offering high quality, value for money food.
