Newcastle's Gay Village is situated in the west end of the city, only a couple of minutes walk from the Central Station. The area houses a selection of pubs and clubs all within a stone's throw of each other and this past year has seen a number of new venues opening, to the delight of visitors and locals alike.
The scene rivals anywhere else in the country and the welcome is renowned, why not come and join the fun? Look out for specific gay and lesbian events including Proud Words and Pride on Tyne as well as the ever popular Rock 'n' Doris cabaret nights at Live Theatre.
