Four exciting half-day foraging tours taking in a range of North East habitats.
Tours are graded for different levels of mobility and adventurousness and you'll be guided by experienced foragers to ensure the delicate environment of nature's free larder is left unharmed. Please ensure you wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear. A light lunch or supper is included in the ticket price. All tours take place on Bank Holiday Monday 4 May.
Urban
10am - 1.30pm
Jesmond Dene, Newcastle (meet at MillField House Visitor Centre, next to Pets Corner)
Price: £25/£20 child/student
Age range: 10 years old+

Woodland
10am - 1.30pm
Gibside, near Rowlands Gill (meet in the stable block)
Price: £25/£20 child/student (includes entry to Gibside)
Age range: 10 years old+
Accessibility: Mostly accessible with some steps.

Seashore
3pm - 7pm
North Tyneside Coastline (meet at Newcastle Malmaison)
Price: £25/£20 child/student
Age range: 10 years old+
Accessibility: Not fully accessible.

Extreme Foraging
3pm - 7pm
Chopwell Woods (meet at the main carpark, signposted High Spen)
Price: £25
Age range: Over 16s only
Accessibility: Not accessible. Participants need to bring or hire bikes, please contact the booking office for more information if you are interested in this event.
