Spring to Life Dinner
EAT! NewcastleGateshead kicks off in style with this unique launch dinner. Toast the arrival of the festival and the start of spring with a welcome glass of Pelorus, the deliciously crisp sparkling wine from the makers of Cloudy Bay. A very special feast follows, featuring the best locally sourced young spring produce, from fantastically fresh greens and tender asparagus to succulent new season lamb. And it's all cooked by Stephen Smith, who gained Seaham Hall the region's only Michelin star this year.
The evening also features a tutored tasting of wines to match each course, including the legendary and much sought-after 2007 Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc. Convivial and lively, this celebration of supremely fine food and wine is set to be a seriously memorable evening. Tickets will sell fast!
